PM said in Veer Bal Diwas program - Guru Gobind Singh stood like a mountain in front of Aurangzeb

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday remembered the martyrdom of the sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and paid tribute to them on Veer Bal Diwas. To attend a program organized on this occasion, PM Modi reached Major Dhyanchand Stadium in Delhi and heard Shabad Kirtan here. This kirtan was sung by 300 child kirtanis.
Earlier on Monday morning, PM Modi paid tribute on social media for the sacrifice of Sahibzads and Mata Gujri ji. The PM had announced on Prakash Parv on January 9, 2022, that 'Veer Bal Diwas' would be celebrated on December 26 this year, paying tribute to the four Sahabzads of the tenth Sikh Guru Govind Singh.
All four sons of Guru Gobind Singh ji attained martyrdom. But this day is especially being celebrated to remember the martyrdom of Sahibzade Zorawar Singh and Fateh Singh, who was martyred at the young age of 6 and 9 years.
The place where both the Sahibzadas were walled up alive in Sirhind, Punjab, on the orders of the Mughal ruler Aurangzeb, is known as Fatehgarh Sahib.
On this occasion, PM Modi said that the history of the world is full of stories of oppression and injustice. Wars were fought in Chamkaur and Sirhind three hundred years ago. On one side was the Mughal Empire which was blind to communal extremism and on the other side were our Gurus.
There was terrorism on one side and spirituality on the other. On one side there was communal unrest and on the other side, there was freedom. On one side there were lakhs of soldiers and on the other side, there were Sahibzadas who did not back down. Sahibzade is the generation that inspires us.
PM Modi said- Guru Gobind Singh stood firm against Aurangzeb's terror and his intention to change India. Aurangzeb and his men wanted to change the religion of Guru Gobind Singh and his children by showing fear of the sword, but they did not succeed in their plan.
A country with a history like this should be full of self-confidence, but it is unfortunate that we were taught only certain stories, due to which inferiority complex comes. If we want to take India to new heights, then we have to stop looking at history from a small perspective.
