The government is organizing programs across the country to tell and educate the citizens, especially young children, about the exemplary courage of the Sahibzadas. A digital exhibition on the life and sacrifice of Sahibzads will be displayed in schools and childcare institutions across the country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the Veer Bal Diwas program at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi today. On this occasion, Modi will flag off the march-past of the youth. Veer Bal Diwas is celebrated as the martyrdom day of Sahibzada Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji, sons of Sri Guru Gobind Singh. Last year in January, on the birth anniversary of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the Prime Minister had announced to celebrate December 26 as Veer Bal Diwas.

The government is organizing programs across the country to tell and educate citizens, especially young children, about the story of the exemplary courage of the Sahibzadas. A digital exhibition on the life and sacrifice of Sahibzads will be displayed in schools and childcare institutions across the country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced in January 2022 that 'Veer Bal Diwas' would be celebrated on 26 December to commemorate the martyrdom of Sahibzados Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji, sons of Sri Guru Gobind Singh. Now this year also this program will be celebrated across the country. In this regard, PM Modi is going to participate in this program going to be held in New Delhi. The Prime Minister will play an important role in the effort to inform and educate the countrymen about the story of the indomitable courage of the Sahibzadas.

A film based on Veer Bal Diwas will also be shown. Various competitions and quizzes will be organized on My Bharat and My Gov portals.

At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today paid floral tribute to former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee at the 'Sadaiva Atal' memorial on his birth anniversary. He also shared his pictures at the memorial this morning. The Prime Minister posted on Twitter, "This morning always paid tribute to Atal ji.
