Recently, MG India has updated the 2025 model of MG Astor and increased the prices of some of its variants by up to Rs 38,000. At the same time, its variant with panoramic sunroof has also become more affordable than before. At the same time, now the company has discontinued its 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine in India. The 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine option of MG Astor is used to generate 140 PS of power and 220 Nm of torque. This engine used to come with a torque converter automatic gearbox, which has now been discontinued in India.

MG Astor is now equipped with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, delivering 110 PS of power and 144 Nm of torque. It is equipped with a 5-speed manual and 8-step CVT automatic transmission option. Its base Shine model is equipped with a panoramic sunroof and six speakers for sound output. Apart from that, its Select model is equipped with six airbags and ivory leatherette premium seat covers. Apart from that, its i-SMART 2.0 infotainment system has been included, which will make driving even easier and more convenient in comparison to its predecessor.

The 2025 MG Astor is equipped with top-notch features including a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, 7-inch virtual driver display, cooled front seats with a 6-way adjustable driver seat, wireless charger, panoramic sunroof, and auto AC. For safe passengers, it is equipped with high-tech security features including 6 airbags, outer rear view mirrors (ORVM) with heating, 360-degree camera with blind spot assist, hill hold and hill descent control and level-2 high-tech driver assistance systems (ADAS) including electronic parking brake, adaptive cruise and lane keep assist.

The 2025 MG Astor is offered in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 17.56 lakh. It competes with other compact SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, Toyota Harrier, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun.
