A sensational case of Nirbhaya-like cruelty has come to light in Delhi. Here with a 12-year-old child, 4 people first committed misdeeds, then after beating them with sticks and thinking they were dead, they were thrown on the side of the road. The police admitted the child to the hospital. His condition is very bad. Police have arrested 1 accused in the case. 3 are still absconding.

According to media reports, this incident of 18 September is in the Seelampur area. On September 22, the parents of the child came to know about the incident. After that Delhi Police was informed about the matter. Delhi Commission for Women President Swati Maliwal disclosed the matter on Sunday.

The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) has taken cognizance of the incident. DCW President Swati Maliwal tweeted about the incident. He said- in Delhi, girls are not safe even boys. According to Swati, an FIR has been registered in this case. He said that all the accused should be arrested at the earliest and the child should get justice. Swati Maliwal has also issued notice to Delhi Police regarding this incident and asked to report the matter by September 28.

After the matter came to light, the police also swung into action. The arrested accused are being interrogated. Police said that the search is on for the absconding accused and soon all three will be arrested. Apart from this, the police are also engaged in gathering evidence about what was the relationship between the four accused. Police are also trying to know what was the relationship of the accused with the victim's child. The old records of the accused are also being seen. CCTV footage from around the spot is also being seen in the matter.
