Government lawyer appointed against Tahawwur Rana, who is Narendra Mann, to get terrorist hanged
The central government appointed advocate Narendra Mann as a special public prosecutor in the case related to the conspiracy of the 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attack. He will hear the NIA case against Tahawwur Rana and David Headley in the NIA Special Court and Appellate Courts of Delhi. This appointment will be valid for 3 years or till the completion of the case trial. This step is in the direction of speeding up the judicial process.



The central government has taken a significant step in a crucial case in relation to the conspiracy behind terrorist attacks in Mumbai on 26 November 2008. Advocate Narendra Mann has been appointed by the government as a special public prosecutor to hear the case for the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
This is in connection to NIA's case number RC-04/2009/NIA/DLI against Pakistan-born Tahawwur Hussain Rana and David Coleman Headley. They have been charged with conspiring against the 26/11 attacks. This case will be heard by Narendra Mann now in NIA's special court in Delhi and in related courts of appeal.
This duty has been assigned to Narendra Mann for three years, and this duty would be deemed to be in effect from the date of issue of this appointment's notification. In case of an earlier conclusion of trial, his duty would cease.
Advocate Narendra Mann is a well-known lawyer. He has been selected in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack case on the basis of his extensive legal experience and proficiency in criminal cases. With his appointment, it is expected that the prosecution will be presented more effectively in the case. The evidence presented against Tahawwur Rana can also expose the face of Pakistan.
