American space agency NASA has issued an alert before the final match of the Cricket World Cup between India and Australia on Sunday. NASA has reported that an asteroid belonging to the Apollo group i.e. Asteroid 2023 WB is coming towards the Earth very fast. NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory has issued an alert saying that at present the asteroid 2023 WB is coming towards the Earth at a high speed of about 45,349 kilometers per hour. It will pass very close to the Earth on November 18 at a distance of 66 lakh kilometers. Its size is 95 feet wide.

Asteroid 2023 WB belongs to the Apollo group of asteroids and is shaped like an airplane, about 95 feet wide. It is not very big in size. It will pass through a distance of 66 lakh kilometers, so there is no danger. NASA has issued this alert as per the prescribed rules.

The American space agency NASA issues an alert every time an asteroid comes within an area of 8 million kilometers of the Earth. According to NASA's website, more than 13 lakh asteroids have been discovered so far. Many of these are as big as a cricket field. These are made of metals like iron and nickel.
