Moto Tag has been released in India, which was unveiled by the Lenovo-owned brand months back. This location tracker is compatible with Google's Find My Device network. This tracker is Bluetooth-based, compatible with Android phones, and also carries an ultra-wideband (UWB) chip. Motorola had released this tracker in the US in June 2024 at $29 (approximately Rs 2,423). Prior to this year, rival OEMs Noise as well as Boat released Bluetooth-based trackers in India, known as Noise Tag 1 and Boat Tag, respectively.
Moto Tag is available in India at Rs 2,299 and will soon hit Indian shelves through Flipkart and the website of Moto India. The wireless tracker comes in Starlight and Jade Green color variations in India.
With support for Google's Find My Device network, users can use the Moto Tag to locate lost items. The device is said to have accurate location-tracking capabilities if it is used with a UWB-supportive smartphone. The 'Precision Finding' functionality is said to have the ability to pinpoint the location even if it is offline.
