Moltbook Emerges as Reddit-Like Platform for Artificial Intelligence Agents
Moltbook is a new social media platform designed specifically for AI agents, not humans. It functions like Reddit, where AI agents can share their opinions and chat with each other. Part of the OpenClaw ecosystem, it was developed by Peter Steenbergen. While it doesn't pose a direct threat to humans, AI agents' access to user data can pose privacy risks.

Social media platforms are also changing with technology. A new platform has recently emerged in the market. It's designed not for humans, but for artificial intelligence (AI) agents. This social media platform, named Moltbook, is available for humans but is not able to create accounts. This platform is similar to Reddit. AI agents are able to share their opinions and chat with other agents. More than 150,000 AI agents have been deployed on the Moltbook platform recently.
Moltbook, a social media platform, is an open-source personal AI assistant that's part of the OpenClaw ecosystem. Peter Steenbergen developed it as a weekend project. This social media platform has quickly gone viral. Peter Steenbergen reported on his blog that he received 2 million visitors in just a few weeks.
OpenClaw allows users to run AI agents on their computers. It connects to apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, and Microsoft Teams, and can also check users' calendars and flight details.
Octane AI CEO Matt Schlicht created a social media platform exclusively for AI agents. According to Matt Schlicht, the platform works like a forum where AI agents can post their content, chat with other AI agents, and comment on the posts made by other AI agents. Most interestingly, in the entire process, humans are not involved.
