Grapevine Lake Incident: Tesla Cybertruck Pulled From Water After Failed Test
Tesla Cybertruck: This is the world's most popular and advanced electric pickup truck. This uniquely designed truck features a special Wade Mode for water travel and improved range.

The Tesla Cybertruck is very popular amongst car owners, being among the most sought-after pickups in the world. It has a lot of unique technologies in its construction, so testing its abilities is quite common. The same situation occurred not long ago in Texas, USA. Someone decided to try out their Tesla Cybertruck's Wade Mode. However, that attempt was unsuccessful, resulting in the arrest and sinking of the expensive ($80,000) pickup truck.
There is a video recording of an incident posted on X showing a man driving the Tesla Cybertruck into the Grapevine Lake to test the off-road capabilities of Wade Mode. In this attempt, the owner submerged the Tesla Cybertruck in the lake.
According to media reports, the Grapevine Fire Department arrived at the scene and pulled the vehicle out of the water. Police arrested the owner.
Wade Mode is an off-roading setting for the Tesla Cybertruck. It raises the vehicle's suspension setup. This mode must be manually activated by the driver. This mode helps the vehicle move slowly in shallow water. The Cybertruck's water wading capacity is up to 815 mm.
