The new Duster SUV will be introduced by French auto giant Renault on 29 November 2023. This SUV, which is currently discontinued in the Indian market, will be launched with a new look, updated interior, and new engine. Even before the launch, some details of the 2024 Renault Duster have been revealed.

This SUV will be based on the CMF-B platform of the French carmaker. The French auto giant also uses the Dame platform for its electric vehicles. The new Duster may come in an ICE avatar as well as hybrid and CNG versions. This platform gives Renault an opportunity to make an electric Duster in the future.

The new Duster SUV will come with many changes in its design. Changes include a redesigned bumper with new vertical LED headlights, a new grille, and an updated air intake. This side profile is also going to change now. Talking about the rear, the new Duster will come with a sloping rear window with a Y-shaped light cluster and a spoiler.

The interior of the new Duster will also be significantly updated. According to reports, this SUV will come with new upholstery, a redesigned dashboard, and other changes. It is expected that the Duster will be provided with features like at least an 8-inch large touchscreen infotainment system, digital driver display, wireless charger, sunroof, automatic climate control, and wireless connectivity.

Under the hood, Renault is expected to offer the new Duster with both petrol and hybrid powertrains. Among the new engines, Renault may add a 1.2-litre mild-hybrid unit that can produce 130 hp as well as a 1.6-litre fully-hybrid unit that can produce 140 hp.

Apart from the regular petrol Duster with a 1.5-litre unit, a CNG version will also be offered. This engine is likely to be offered with both manual and automatic transmissions.
