Live-in partner killed the girl: took her to the forest on the pretext of taking her for a walk

A girl living in a live-in relationship was murdered by her lover in Shahpur taluka of Thane district near Mumbai. The police have arrested the accused's lover Rizwan and his friend Arshad, who supported him in the murder.
The girl was living in a live-in with Rizwan for a year. During this, there were many disputes between the two. Angered by this, Rizwan conspired to kill his girlfriend. He took the help of his friend Arshad. Rizwan took him to the forest of Kasara on the pretext of roaming around and killed him there by stabbing him several times with a sharp weapon.
On January 5, the police received information about the body of an unknown girl being found in the Kasara forest. The police also found the girl's phone at some distance from the dead body. To keep the data safe, the police succeeded in unlocking the phone on January 5 with the help of a cyber expert, which led to the identification of the girl.
As soon as the girl was identified, the police started scanning the CCTV footage of the Mumbai-Nashik highway. The girl was seen going on a bike with two unknown people. The Kasara team formed 4 teams and arrested both the accused from the Bhiwandi area. Both confessed their crime in front of the police.
