Khalistan Zindabad has written on the wall of the Indian Embassy in US: Khalistani leader Pannu had announced a reward for those who did so
Ahead of India's Independence Day, Khalistan Zindabad is written on the wall of the Indian Consulate in San Francisco, USA. This information came to the fore in media reports on Friday, after which pictures of the walls of the embassy are becoming viral on social media. However, it is not yet clear who wrote these slogans. The matter is being investigated.
The Central Government started the 'Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan' on the 75th anniversary of Independence Day. On the other hand, Khalistani leader Gurpatwant Singh has opposed this and appealed to the people to hoist the Khalistani flag.
On Wednesday, banned Khalistani leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannu released a provocative video. On August 15, it announced the installation of the Khalistan-block tricolour at Indian embassies in Melbourne, London, Milan, San Francisco, Vancouver and Toronto. The group had also announced a cash reward for those who did so.
Gurpatwant Singh Pannu is the main face of Sikhs for Justice (SJF). It is a pro-Khalistan group, which is running a separatist campaign. The group made in America was started in the year 2007. Its basic agenda is to create a separate Khalistan in Punjab. Gurpatwant has a law degree from America and a law degree from Panjab University.
On Republic Day in January 2021, farmers demonstrated against agricultural laws in the country's capital Delhi. Violence also took place during this period. The name SJF also came to the fore in this violence.
