Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal become parents to twins

Isha Ambani, a daughter of Mukesh Ambani, and her  husband Anand Piramal welcomed twins today, the family announced. The babies are a boy and a girl. 

Aadiya and Krishna are their names.

"We are delighted to share that our children Isha and Anand have been blessed by the Almighty with twins on 19th November 2022. Isha and the babies, baby girl Aadiya and baby boy Krishna are doing well," a statement said.

"We seek your blessings and good wishes for Aadiya, Krishna, Isha and Anand in this most important phase of their life," it said.

Anand Piramal, the son of industrialist Ajay Piramal and Swati Piramal, and Isha Ambani, the daughter of Reliance chairman Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, were wed in a lavish wedding in Mumbai in 2018.

The wedding functions saw many A-listers from Bollywood, politics and the business world.

Akash Ambani and Shloka Ambani, the son and daughter-in-law of Mukesh Ambani, welcomed their newborn boy in December 2020.

In August of this year, Isha Ambani was appointed to oversee the retail division of the Reliance company. Anant Ambani, Mukesh Ambani's youngest son, was named the head of his new energy company at the same time.
