It said that Gurpreet Singh appeared at Uxbridge Magistrate Court in London and was charged with a number of offenses.
Police said on Thursday that the charges included one count of attempted grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent, two counts of GBH with intent, one count of assault, one count of threatening with a bladed object, and possession of a bladed object. Two cases are included.
Singh, 25, has been remanded in custody and asked to appear at Isleworth Crown Court in London on 14 September.
