Lazar emphasized that to join the group, passengers must send an email or fill out the provided Google form so they can collectively take legal action. Sanjay Lazar also stated that if anyone has any questions regarding this process, they can ask by responding below the social media post.
It is worth noting that a class action is a legal process in which one or more individuals can file a single lawsuit as a group with a common claim. Under this process, a class action lawsuit can be filed against the accused company for acts such as mismanagement and fraud.
According to the survey, such lawsuits were filed against Delta Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and American Airlines in the US. The purpose of class action is to simplify and make the judicial process more efficient, allowing for a single decision in similar cases and reducing the burden on the courts.
