Another temple in Australia has been attacked. The historical Shri Shiv Vishnu temple was vandalized on Monday. This is the second incident of attack on the temple in the last 5 days. The Indian community is troubled by the latest incident. Khalistan supporters have been accused of the attack.
Earlier on January 12, anti-India slogans were found written on the walls of the BAPS Swaminarayan Temple in Melbourne. Devotee Usha Senthilnathan told that when she came to the temple on Monday to celebrate the Pongal festival, she saw anti-India slogans in the temple.
Makrand Bhagwat, president of the Victoria Chapter of the Hindu Council of Australia, said, “I cannot tell you how upset I am to hear about the Hindu temple being vandalized for Khalistan propaganda. Victoria Police said the investigation into the temple incident was ongoing.
