WhatsApp Working on ‘After Read’ Feature, Messages to Disappear After Being Seen
WhatsApp periodically introduces new features for its users to improve the user experience. Now, information has emerged about a Snapchat-like feature.

WhastApp in the spotlight once again! This time the issue is around a privacy tool that provides more flexibility for the user to decide on the duration of the message appearance. According to the report from WaBetaInfo, there are plans to develop a tool where the messages will disappear on their own after the recipient finishes reading them.
At present, the feature is still under development and can be found in the latest Android beta trains. Users may be aware of the feature called “disappearing messages,” which allows the message to disappear after certain durations, namely 24 hours, 7 days, or 90 days.
Initial details suggest that this 'After Read' feature could have multiple time options, ranging from as short as a few minutes to as long as several hours. This will allow users to customize the message's sensitivity and visibility as needed.
