IND vs SL: Dangerous bowling by Riyan Parag, Sri Lanka gave India a target of 249 runs, Avishka Fernando missed a century

The last and decisive match of the three-match ODI series being played between India and Sri Lanka is being played at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. In this match, Sri Lanka has set a target of 249 runs in front of India with the help of a brilliant innings by opener Avishka Fernando. This is the highest score made by any team in this series.

Winning the toss and batting first, Sri Lanka scored 248 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the stipulated 50 overs. For Sri Lanka, Fernando scored a half-century, scoring 96 runs off 102 balls with the help of 9 fours and two sixes. His partner Pathum Nissanka scored 45 runs off 65 balls with the help of two sixes and five fours. Nissanka missed a half-century and Fernando a century.

Apart from these two, wicketkeeper Kusal Mendis scored 59 runs off 82 balls with the help of four fours. In the end, Kamindu Mendis played an unbeaten innings of 23 runs off 19 balls to take Sri Lanka close to 250. No other batsman could do anything special. Riyan Parag, who made his debut for India in this match, took three wickets for 54 runs in 9 overs. Apart from him, Washington Sundar, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammad Siraj, and Axar Patel took one wicket each.

It will not be easy for India to chase this score. If the team has to draw this series, then this match has to be won at all costs. The first match of this series was a tie. Whereas Sri Lanka defeated India by 32 runs in the second match.
