In this match being played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, India has set a target of 411 runs for the Dutch team with the help of stormy centuries from wicket-keeper batsman KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer. This is India's biggest score so far in this World Cup.

Batting first, the Indian team scored 410 runs losing four wickets in 50 overs. For India, Shreyas Iyer scored the highest unbeaten 128 runs with the help of 10 fours and 5 sixes in 94 balls. Whereas Lokesh Rahul played an inning of 102 runs in 64 balls with the help of four sixes and 11 fours. This is the fastest century scored by any batsman in the World Cup. Apart from these two, captain Rohit Sharma contributed 61 runs on 54 balls, Shubman Gill 51 runs on 32 balls, and Virat Kohli contributed 51 runs on 56 balls.

In this match, the first five batsmen of India scored more than 50 runs. Lokesh Rahul and Shreyas Iyer made a partnership of 208 runs for the fourth wicket. This is India's second-best score in the World Cup. Earlier, India had scored 413 runs against Bermuda in 2007. Lokesh Rahul completed his century in 62 balls and it was the fastest century for the country in the World Cup. Just de Leede took two wickets for the Netherlands. Meekren and Merv got one wicket each.
