Due to this system, a period of intense rain has begun in Madhya Pradesh and neighboring districts of Rajasthan. As a result, a red alert has been issued for four districts, an orange alert for ten, and a yellow alert for seventeen districts.
Many parts of the state experienced heavy to very heavy rainfall on Sunday as well. Pali, Sirohi, Pratapgarh, and Baran received between 2 and 6 inches of rain. The heavy rainfall prompted rescue operations by SDRF and NDRF, and many people were rescued.
