Google DeepMind Unveils Nano Banana 2 Pro With 4K Image Generation and Real-Time Search Integration

Nano Banana 2 Pro by Google DeepMind is an advanced AI image generation and editing tool. This tool has just been made available with 2K and 4K high-quality image output, and studio controls like lighting, focus, framing, and color grading. For the first time, it's able to create multilingual text that's accurate, clear, readable, and translates well. It can be used to create not just photos but also infographics, posters, ad visuals, social media designs, and step-by-step visuals.

The model now has the ability to pull data straight from Google Search in real time. For instance, if a user requests the creation of an AI poster about the weather in Mumbai today, the image can also show updated weather. This feature is currently rolling out to the Gemini app, Google Ads, Workspace, and the API.

Because Nano Banana 2 creates images so realistic that distinguishing between real and fake can be challenging. Furthermore, user-uploaded prompts and images can be used for training. Although Google has introduced a SynthID watermark to prevent this, experts believe that watermarks alone are not a reliable barrier.
