According to this, Gautam Gambhir will be officially declared the next head coach of Team India by the end of June. The report also states that Gambhir will sign a contract with BCCI till the 2027 ODI World Cup. Not only this, he will also choose his support staff himself.

The report, quoting a BCCI source, revealed that Gambhir further told the board that he would like to choose his own set of support staff members. Currently, Vikram Rathore is the batting coach, Paras Mhambrey is the bowling coach and T Dilip is the fielding coach.
