Since Diwali the pollution has increased in many areas of the country like Delhi NCR. Day by day the Air Quality Index (AQI) is increasing, whose effect is now visible in Rajasthan as well. On Tuesday morning the AQI report came out which revealed that 4 districts of Rajasthan are being named among the 10 most polluted cities of the country. The AQI here has reached 'dangerous' levels, people who come in contact with it more may have difficulty in breathing.
Sri Ganganagar, Dholpur, Hanumangarh, and Jhunjhunu are districts of Rajasthan where the AQI level is above 300 today. According to the report, Delhi is the most polluted city in India at this time, with an AQI level of 384. Also, Hanumangarh district is on the list of the second most polluted city with an AQI level of 369. At the same moment, Jhunjhunu is the third most polluted city in India with an AQI level of 359. Sri Ganganagar is the fourth most polluted city in India with 351 AQI levels, whereas Hajipur is the fifth most polluted city in India having AQI 328.
Similarly, Dholpur district occupies the sixth slot in the list of India's most polluted cities with an AQI level of 327. While Bhiwani has been ranked at number seven, Ghaziabad has been ranked at eight, Gurugram at nine, and Vrindavan at ten. Churu is at 11th and Bhiwadi city is at 12th rank. If we talk about clean air, then the air of Gangtok city in Sikkim state of the country is the cleanest today. Here, the AQI level is at 19.
