In the capital Jaipur, the rain that started late Monday evening continued throughout the night. As of this writing on Tuesday morning, light rain is still ongoing. Meanwhile, very heavy rains in many districts of the state on Monday created flood risks. The most rainfall was recorded in Kota-Pali. Due to the threat of rain in Kota and Pali, schools have been closed today. In the past 24 hours, 12 people have lost their lives in various accidents caused by rain, including 4 in Chittorgarh, 3 in Pratapgarh, 2 in Churu, 1 in Kota, 1 in Bharatpur, and 1 in Pali.

On Monday, a red alert was issued in 8 districts, and today, on Tuesday, a red alert remains in three districts. Ajmer, Nagaur, and Pali continue to be on red alert. Heavy rain also fell in Pali on Monday. Additionally, a warning of very heavy rain has been issued for Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Kota, Rajsamand, Sirohi, Tonk, Bikaner, Jalore, and Jodhpur. Rain has been falling in Jaipur since Monday evening, causing waterlogging in many parts of the city, especially in low-lying neighborhoods.

Due to heavy rains in Rajasthan on Monday, water inflow into Bisalpur Dam in Tonk increased. By Tuesday morning, the water level reached 314.13 meters. At the time of this report, strong inflow from the Triveni River continues into Bisalpur. The river is flowing at a height of 3.20 meters. The dam is over 75 percent full.
