International HackX Hackathon Concludes at Manipal University, Youth Innovates Through Coding
The closing ceremony's Chief Guest, Prof. GK Prabhu, the University's Vice Chancellor, encouraged the youth to view problems as challenges, find solutions, and ensure these solutions benefit society.
Jaipur: Manipal University in Jaipur hosted the International HackX Hackathon, where over 550 participants from India and abroad, forming more than 100 teams, tackled around a dozen real-world problems in the fields of Healthcare, Fintech, Web3, Cyber Security, and Open Innovation.
The hackathon, organized under the auspices of the School of Computer Science and Engineering, E-Cell, and Atal Incubation Centre, spanned two days and lasted for 36 hours. Participants showcased innovative solutions to various societal challenges. Prof. Sandeep Chaurasia, the School Director, announced that the winning teams received cash and pool prizes exceeding two lakhs.
