The weather in Rajasthan has started changing again. Due to cloud cover in most of Rajasthan's urban areas a day ago, sunlight intensity was reduced, and for that, a drop in daytime temperature could be noticed and a mild cold feeling could be felt. According to the Meteorological Department, a new western disturbance will be active in the state from tomorrow, due to which light rain with thunder may occur in some parts of the state on February 3 and 4.
In the last 24 hours, a cloud cover in several Rajasthan cities including Jaipur, Sikar, and Alwar added to the cold in the daytime, and cold winds in the daytime added to the cold in the daytime. Due to this change in weather, morning and evening temperatures in most parts of Rajasthan have reduced, and hence, cold increased.
The highest temperature of 29.2 degrees Celsius in Chittorgarh in the state, 28.7 in Dholpur, 28.5 in Dungarpur, 27.2 in Udaipur, 27.4 in Bhilwara, 26.3 in Ajmer, 26.4 in Kota, 27.4 in Jodhpur, 26 in Jaipur, 24.1 in Ganganagar and 20 degrees maximum temperature was recorded in Mount Abu.
Night temperatures also fell and minimum temperatures were recorded in single digits in Bhilwara, Alwar, Pilani, Sikar, Ganganagar, Dungarpur, Sirohi, Jalore, Karauli, Fatehpur, and Alwar. The lowest temperature of 6 degrees was recorded in Mount Abu.
According to the Meteorological Department, there may be a slight drop in the temperature of Rajasthan in the coming days. Due to the effect of the western disturbance, light rain is expected in some parts of Jaipur, Ajmer, Bikaner, and Bharatpur divisions on 3-4 February. During this time, the day temperature may drop slightly due to cloud cover, but the rain will not be very widespread.
Light rain and cold winds can also affect the crops. In the areas where wheat, mustard and other Rabi crops are being cultivated, there is a possibility of damage to the crops due to excessive rain. However, due to increased humidity due to light rain, crops may also benefit in some areas.
