ED takes action against OSF; Raids several locations in Bangalore including an organization linked to George Soros

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has taken action against OSF (Open Society Foundation), an organization financed by American billionaire George Soros, and its allied organizations. ED raided the OSF and its allied offices in Bangalore on Tuesday. The raid was conducted on the charge of FEMA law violation.
According to media reports, ED raided the premises of OSF and some other international human rights organizations on the charge of violating FEMA law. OSF is an organization backed by American billionaire businessman George Soros. It is alleged that OSF funded several organizations and the guidelines of FEMA law were violated in the use of this funding. So far OSF has not issued any statement on ED's action.
