A slapping incident between a Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officer and petrol pump employees at a petrol pump in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, has escalated into a heated argument. The altercation was captured on CCTV. Based on the video, police have arrested three petrol pump employees.
According to police, on Tuesday, Pratapgarh's Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Chhotu Lal Sharma got into an argument with the employees of a CNG and petrol pump in the Jaswantpura area over giving him priority in the vehicle queue. SDM Chhotu Lal Sharma, claiming to be the first to arrive, insisted on filling fuel first.
When a petrol pump employee tried to intervene, the SDM allegedly slapped him, prompting the employee to retaliate. Police arrested three petrol pump employees, Deepak Mali, Prabhu Lal Kumawat, and Raja Sharma, in connection with the assault on SDM Chhotu Lal Sharma at the petrol pump. Police stated that both the physical altercation and the harassment complaint are under investigation.
As the video of the incident went viral, social media users began sharing screenshots of a police complaint filed by SDM Chhotu Lal Sharma's wife, Deepika Vyas. According to screenshots of the viral complaints, Vyas accused the petrol pump employees of harassment and inappropriate behavior. She claimed that an employee winked at her and made obscene comments, which allegedly led to the altercation.
