Indian Premier League 2024: BCCI has opened the treasury for the players as well as groundmen and curators. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has announced to give Rs 25 lakh each to the ground staff. Whereas the staff of 3 extra grounds will get Rs 10 lakh each.

The reward for each ground crew member and pitch curator at each of the 13 IPL 2024 venues was revealed by BCCI Secretary Jay Shah on Monday. The IPL 2024 champion team is Kolkata Knight Riders. From captain Shreyas Iyer to stars Shah Rukh Khan, Gautam Gambhir, and Rinku Singh, the unique ways and images of the celebration at Chepauk Stadium will undoubtedly win your hearts. In the meantime, BCCI Secretary Jai Shah made an announcement that delighted everyone. For groundskeepers and pitch curators, the BCCI has actually announced a reward of lakhs of rupees.

Jay Shah has shared a post on the social media platform X. He announced this to the ground staff and curators through this post. Jay Shah wrote on Twitter, “The unsung heroes ground staff have played an important role in our successful IPL 2024 season. He prepared a good pitch even in bad weather conditions. Groundsmen and curators of 10 regular IPL grounds will get Rs 25 lakh each. Whereas the staff of 3 extra grounds will get Rs 10 lakh each. Thank you for your dedication and hard work!”

This year's IPL was played across 13 venues across the country after Delhi Capitals, Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals added an additional home venue to their schedule. Delhi played some of its matches in Visakhapatnam besides the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi, Punjab played some matches in Dharamshala besides Mullanpur while Rajasthan chose Guwahati as its second home ground after Jaipur.
