Approval for another airport in Telangana, Rajnath Singh wrote a letter to G. Kishan Reddy
The Defense Ministry has given in-principle approval for civilian aircraft operations at Adilabad Airport, established during the Nizam period. In a letter to the Telangana government, the Defense Ministry said that the Indian Air Force is planning to set up a training establishment at that place in the future. The letter said that the Indian Air Force had considered the request.

Another airport in Telangana has been approved by the central government to operate civilian flights. This is the second one since the Congress government was established in the state. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has written to Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy in this regard.
Rajnath Singh described that there is an airfield in Adilabad belonging to the Indian Air Force and the Air Force intends to install a training facility there in the future. However, he added in the letter that the Ministry of Defence is giving its seal of approval to the Joint Air Field.
Earlier, G. Kishan Reddy had written a letter to Rajnath Singh regarding the establishment of a full-fledged Air Force station in Telangana. Reddy had demanded that permission be given to operate civilian aircraft at the airport.
The Telangana government has also made a proposal for this. The Indian Air Force has agreed in principle to the Telangana government's proposal. Earlier in February, similar approval was given for Mamnoor Airport in Warangal.
