Alcatel is going to return to India, new phone will be launched soon; know the details

Alcatel will be back in the Indian smartphone market through the Alcatel V3 Ultra. While the release date is still under wraps, this TCL Communication-owned brand has posted fresh teasers for the device on social media.

The Alcatel V3 Ultra has been confirmed to feature dedicated display modes for varied activities. The new Alcatel smartphones will be going on sale at Flipkart. Another leak has also shown that the Alcatel V3 series will release within the last week of May.

Alcatel India founder and technology advisor, Madhav Sheth, posted a series of teasers on X, which gave details regarding the Alcatel V3 Ultra. It will feature special display modes for reading, video watching, scrolling and content generation. The device will also be stylus-enabled.

The new teaser further reveals the design of the unannounced Alcatel V3 Ultra. It features a circular rear camera module, which contains three sensors. The camera island further features a flashlight module.

Furthermore, Alcatel announced that it has joined together with Paget Electronics, which is a subsidiary of Dixon Technologies, to produce Alcatel smartphones locally in India.

The exact launch date for the Alcatel V3 Ultra has not been made official yet, but the company is teasing it with a 'coming soon' tag. Alcatel is also hosting a contest, in which users are asked to guess the launch date of the upcoming smartphone. Participants will get a chance to win exclusive Alcatel merchandise and launch event passes.

Meanwhile, a report by 91Mobiles mentions the launch date and time of the phones. According to the poster shared by the publication, the Alcatel V3 lineup will be launched in India on May 27 at 11 am IST.

Alcatel smartphones have been confirmed for sale in India via Flipkart's main platform and Flipkart Minutes. The Alcatel V3 Ultra is Alcatel's first smartphone launch in India after three years. According to rumours, it will feature a 6.8-inch display and a 5,010mAh battery. It could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and pack a 108-megapixel primary rear camera.
