David Warner retired from international cricket, is playing in the Big Bash League (BBL), and is looking amazing with his bat. In the 29th match of the league, he performed brilliantly against Hobart Hurricanes and brought his team Sydney Thunder to a respectable position.

Sydney Thunder was invited by Hobart Hurricanes captain Nathan Ellis to bat first after he won the toss. Sydney Thunder batted first and scored 164 runs against the loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs with the help of opener batsman David Warner. During this, David Warner hit a shot on a ball, due to which his bat broke. The bat hit on his head, although he did not get any injury.

In reply, an unbeaten half-century by Tim David helped Hobart Hurricanes reach the target of 165 runs in 16.5 overs for the loss of 4 wickets. Hobart Hurricanes did not have a good start. They lost three important wickets for 59 runs in 6.1 overs. In such a situation, David, along with Nikhil Chaudhary, took the innings forward and pulled his team out of the difficult situation. After Nikhil Chaudhary, who started the innings, was dismissed at 29 runs, the match was taken over by Tim David in company with Chris Jordan and secured victory with as many as 19 balls left to play.
