Uproar in Jaipuria Hospital: Demonstration of employees against APO to lab technician; the superintendent sat outside the chamber
There was an uproar this morning at the Jaipuria Hospital near Malviya Nagar Jaijawan Colony in Jaipur. In protest against the APO to the lab technician, the paramedical staff and the contractual employees stopped work for some time and raised slogans. Some of the protesting employees raised slogans outside the hospital superintendent's chamber and also staged a sit-in.
State convenor of Rajasthan Nursing Association Integrated, Pt. Jitendra Katara, who is leading the protest, told that on Monday, the hospital superintendent Dr. Mahesh Mangal was on the round, during which he reached the blood collection center. Seeing the crowd here, he reprimanded the lab technician Subhash Sharma who was collecting blood. There was a hot talk between the two on this matter. After this dispute, the superintendent made the lab technician APO without giving any reason or explanation notice.
This order was opposed today by all the lab technicians, radiographers and nursing staff. Here all the employees first raised slogans on the hospital premises and then sat on a dharna outside the superintendent's office. During this, the contractual employees also stopped working for some time. The patients who came to the hospital also faced problems due to the stoppage of work during this entire demonstration. The protesting employees have demanded the hospital administration cancel the APO order of the lab technician. Katara has warned that if the administration does not withdraw the APO orders, then all the employees may boycott the work.
