St. Francis teams performed brilliantly and won in both categories on the third day of Oriental Cup 2025

Despite the delay in the start of the day due to heavy rain in the morning, the third day of Oriental Cup 2025 at Dr. Ambedkar Stadium was exciting. The St. Francis de Sales Senior Secondary School, Janakpuri, teams dominated by posting excellent wins in boys as well as girls categories. The boys' teams of The Mother's International School and Amity International (Noida) moved into the next round after winning in penalty shootouts, while Heritage Global School and New Green Field School also won in closely fought matches. Both Group A girls' matches were drawn, making the points table all the more interesting.

St. Francis Girls, with the guidance of Nitin, began the day confidently and beat Navy Children School 2-0. Jiya Verma scored both goals. Their boys' team later beat DAV Faridabad 1-0 with a single goal by Yuvraj Marwah.
