Under the guidance of coach Nitin, St. Francis Girls started the day with confidence and defeated Navy Children School 2-0. Both goals were scored by Jiya Verma. After this, their boys team defeated DAV Faridabad 1-0 thanks to the only goal of Yuvraj Marwah.

Despite the delay in the start of the day due to heavy rain in the morning, the third day of Oriental Cup 2025 at Dr. Ambedkar Stadium was exciting. The St. Francis de Sales Senior Secondary School, Janakpuri, teams dominated by posting excellent wins in boys as well as girls categories. The boys' teams of The Mother's International School and Amity International (Noida) moved into the next round after winning in penalty shootouts, while Heritage Global School and New Green Field School also won in closely fought matches. Both Group A girls' matches were drawn, making the points table all the more interesting.

St. Francis Girls, with the guidance of Nitin, began the day confidently and beat Navy Children School 2-0. Jiya Verma scored both goals. Their boys' team later beat DAV Faridabad 1-0 with a single goal by Yuvraj Marwah.

The boys of New Green Field School (Saket), under the guidance of coach Rohit Yadav, defeated Venkateshwar International School 3-1 in a penalty shootout. The match remained goalless in the stipulated time. In another close match of boys, Heritage Global School (Faridabad), under the guidance of coach Gaurav Gandhi, defeated Government Sarvodaya Co-Ed Vidyalaya (Shahpur Jat) 1-0. The decisive goal was scored by Javed Akhtar.

The second round of boys matches was also full of excitement. The Mother's International School, under the guidance of coach Sachin Rawat, advanced to the next round in a closely fought match against Sanskruti School. The score after the stipulated time was 1-1. Daivik Bezgotra scored for Mothers, and Mannan Machhan scored for Sanskriti. Mothers kept their composure in the shootout, and Amogha Shandilya and Dhruv Tuli successfully scored penalties to give the team a 2-0 win.

In another knockout match, Amity International School (Noida) defeated Air Force School (Subrata Park) in a penalty shootout under the guidance of coach Utkarsh Tyagi. The score in the regular time was 1-1. Aman Kumar scored for Amity, and Aarav Bagga scored for Air Force. In the shootout, Aman Kumar and Avigya Kunwar scored accurate kicks to take Amity to the next round.

Both the matches of girls' Group A were goalless draws. The match between defending champion Sanskriti School and The Mothers International School was very tough, but no team could take the lead. Similarly, the match between Amity International (Noida) and Tagore International School (Girls) was balanced and ended 0-0. All four teams got one point each, making the group stage competition more intense. Another action-packed schedule of seven matches is scheduled for the fourth day, which includes the second round matches of the boys category and the crucial group stage matches of the girls category.
