Rajasthan Weather Update: According to experts of the Meteorological Department, the monsoon turf line is currently passing through Jalandhar, Chandigarh, Shahjahanpur and Lucknow. Due to this, there will be relief from heavy rain in Rajasthan for the next few days.

The rain in Rajasthan has slowed down for the next few days. As the weather clears, the sun has started shining again. Meteorological Department experts say that the monsoon line is currently passing through Jalandhar, Chandigarh, Shahjahanpur, and Lucknow. Because of this, Rajasthan will see relief from heavy rains in the coming days. The Jaipur Meteorological Center has forecast rain in five districts today and issued a yellow alert for this. The weather in the rest of Rajasthan is expected to stay normal.
Over the past 24 hours, some eastern Rajasthan areas saw rainfall, including 63 mm in Rudawal (Bharatpur), 50 mm in Vaira, 51 mm in Bayana, 47 mm in Uchain, 13 mm in Jhadol (Udaipur), 8 mm in Kotra, 6 mm in Todabhim (Karauli), 4 mm in Nadauti, and 15 mm in Rajakheda (Dholpur). Meanwhile, the weather in Jaipur remained clear on Sunday, providing some relief from the sunshine. The District Collector of Jhalawar has extended school holidays until August 6.
In Tonk, a boy and girl aged 10 and 11 were swimming near the Banas River on Sunday morning near Mandawar village in Banetha. They were using a tube when they went into deep water and were caught in the current, shouting for help. Hearing them, 65-year-old Baluram Keer ran to help, jumping into the river and rescuing both children. He then brought them to the shore but was swept away himself. People arrived after hearing the commotion. The Tonk SDRF team went to the scene and began searching for the elderly man.
Regarding the dams, water release from the Bisalpur dam in Tonk continues. The dam’s gates are being operated, with gate 11 closed on Sunday morning. Currently, gates 9 and 10 are releasing water into the Banas River at one meter each. Other dams like Rana Pratap Sagar in Kota, Kota Barrage, Morel in Dausa, Todi Sagar, Galwa in Tonk, and Chhaparwada in Jaipur are fully filled. Additionally, 265 smaller dams are at full capacity.
