Before plane took off, suddenly the passenger opened the emergency gate; there was a stir among the people
A plane was ready for takeoff at Jodhpur airport. Shortly before this, a passenger opened the emergency exit of the plane. Due to the opening of the emergency door, there was a stir among the people on the plane. After this incident, the passenger was immediately arrested by CISF. Due to this incident, the plane was delayed by 20 minutes in taking off.
The Jodhpur Airport in Rajasthan witnessed a shocking scene. A flight was scheduled to depart for Bengaluru this morning, and all of its passengers had already boarded. While the cabin crew was preparing for takeoff, indigo employees were carrying out routine pre-flight checks that were amiss today.
Although this Indigo aircraft was scheduled to depart at 10:10 am, a few minutes prior to the planned exit, a passenger on the aircraft flung the emergency exit door open. This caused the pilot and the rest of the crew to be informed of the disastrous and perilous situation. Enhanced panic mode was set off across the passengers.
In the aftermath of the incident, all the crew onboard swarmed together to begin standard operating protocol. Soon after the passenger was detained, they were escorted to the CISF.
