Actress Radhika Vidyasagar is all set to make her Hindi big screen debut with the film Munjya. The actress, who is currently seen playing the role of Renuka Deshmukh in Star Plus Udne Ki Aasha, says that Munjya was fun to shoot.
“Munjya is my first Hindi film and also my first horror film. We shot this film in the beautiful location of Guhagar. I worked alongside Mona Singh, Abhy Varma, Suhas Joshi, and Ajay Purkar, all of whom I know very well. The director, Aditya Sarpotdar, is someone I am also well acquainted with. I am so grateful to Aditya for recommending my name. He saw my audition and then approached me, along with Maddock Films. It was a great experience overall,” she says.
Talking about her look in the film, he says, “In the film, I have a no-makeup look, portraying a very simple housewife from Konkan. Although my role is small, it is significant, and by the end of the film, you will notice it. The film showcases beautiful locations and emphasizes that you can look good without makeup; it all depends on your performance. I am excited to watch the film, which is releasing on June 7th.”
Munjya is produced by Maddock Films and stars Sharvari, Mona Singh, Abhay Verma and Sathyaraj in lead roles. It is a supernatural comedy horror film directed by Aditya Sarpotdar.
