Professors promoted after protests by students in RU

The professor's strike, which has been going on for the last 13 days at Rajasthan University, has come to an end. On Saturday, an uproar started in the Vice-Chancellor's Secretariat over the demand for promotion to the professor in the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. During this, angry students climbed on the roof of the Vice-Chancellor's secretariat and started protesting. After which, in a hurry, the university administration held a meeting and issued an order for the promotion of the professor.
In fact, after the uproar in the Syndicate meeting of Rajasthan University, it was decided to promote the Research Professor. But even after this, the order of promotion was not issued. Angered by this, Professor Ashok Singh, Surendra Singh, Naresh Malik, Ramesh Chawla, Mahipal Yadav and PL Batra sat on a dharna outside the VC Secretariat. After this, common students of the university along with ABVP, and NSUI started agitation in support of the professors.
During this, ABVP activists burnt the effigy of Neelima Takshak, the registrar of the university, after taking out the funeral procession. On the other hand, NSUI workers sat on a dharna on the terrace of the university. While some students in support of the professors locked the Vice Chancellor in the secretariat itself. None of these had even warned of suicide if there was no promotion. After this, the university administration tried to end the growing protest by issuing promotion orders.
