Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to the United Arab Emirates. PM Modi will inaugurate the first Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi today. In addition, on February 14, PM Modi will speak to the assembly of global leaders at the World Government Summit in Dubai. PM Modi had a meeting with the UAE President on the first day of his visit. PM Modi is flying out of Abu Dhabi to Qatar. It is anticipated that he will meet His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in Qatar. The PM is probably going to meet a few other important dignitaries in Qatar.

When it comes to Hindu temples, the BAPS Hindu Temple is situated on roughly 27 acres of land, and work on it has been ongoing since 2019. The land for this temple has been donated by the UAE government, which the PM mentioned in the 'Ahlan Modi' (Hello Modi) program while addressing the people of Indian origin in Abu Dhabi on the first day of his visit.

Covering an area of 27 acres, this temple was constructed by Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS). Within the temple are temples dedicated to different deities. This magnificent temple contains seven shrines, each of which is devoted to a different deity from the North, East, West, or South of India. These include Lord Jagannath, Lord Krishna and Radha, Shri Akshar Purushottam Maharaj, Lord Tirupati Balaji, and Lord Ayyappa. Other ones are Lord Hanuman, Lord Shiva-Parvati, and Lord Ganesh-Karthik.

Located near Al Rahba on the Dubai-Abu Dhabi Sheikh Zayed Highway, this temple built by Bochasan resident Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) has been built on about 27 acres of land. The façade of the temple has exquisite marble carvings on a sandstone background, carved from over 25,000 stone pieces by skilled artisans from Rajasthan and Gujarat. A large quantity of pink sandstone has been brought to Abu Dhabi from northern Rajasthan for the temple.
