Pakistan's Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has killed eight terrorists in Balochistan. This action was taken during separate operations in Balochistan province during the last 24 hours. ARY News has given this information to Shivar.

According to ARY News, security forces, after receiving information, raided a house in Basima, a town and tehsil headquarters of Washuk district, on Friday. During this encounter, five terrorists were killed, while three others managed to escape.

During the search of the encounter site, CTD seized a large quantity of arms and ammunition. The dead are being identified.

CTD spokesperson said that in another operation in Quetta, they killed three people who had kidnapped a child and recovered the child safely, ARY News reported. Those killed are said to be members of an illegal organization.

The terrorists kidnapped the child for ransom. CTD had seized a large number of arms and ammunition from their hideout.

Last month, security forces in Pakistan killed two gunmen who attacked a convoy of Chinese workers in the country's southwestern Balochistan province, according to the military's media affairs branch. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) issued a statement confirming the attack on a convoy in Balochistan. ISPR said militants attacked a military convoy in Gwadar district. During this, they used small arms and hand grenades.
