The OnePlus 15R is set to be launched in India on December 17th, alongside the OnePlus Pad Go 2. The company has been revealing several details about the upcoming smartphone ahead of the launch. In the latest announcement, the OnePlus 15R has been confirmed to have a 32-megapixel selfie camera. This aligns with previous announcements about its display and camera capabilities.

The company stated in a press note that the OnePlus 15R will feature "the most advanced selfie camera ever in an R series device." The 32-megapixel sensor is said to have autofocus capabilities, meaning it can automatically adjust the lens to eliminate blurry selfies.

The OnePlus 15R is also claimed to be the first R-series handset to support 4K 30fps video recording on the front camera. Its predecessor, the OnePlus 13R, featured a 16-megapixel selfie shooter that supported video recording at up to 1080p resolution.

According to previous announcements, the OnePlus 15R is confirmed to feature a 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 165Hz refresh rate, similar to the flagship OnePlus 15. The company claims it will have a pixel density of 450 pixels per inch (PPI) and a peak brightness of 1,800 nits. The display will support a brightness range between 2 nits and 1,800 nits.
