Now Amazon Now service started in this city, products will be available in 10 minutes
Amazon on Thursday launched its 10-minute delivery service Amazon Now in select areas of Mumbai. Earlier this service was available in Bangalore and Delhi. Customers can order groceries, personal care products and electronic accessories from Amazon Now in minutes. With this expansion, Amazon will now directly compete with quick-delivery players like Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart and Zepto.

On Thursday, Amazon announced the launch of its 10-minute delivery service, Amazon Now, in select areas of Mumbai. This service is already available in Bangalore and Delhi. The company launched Amazon Now in Bengaluru earlier this year. It works through micro-fulfillment centers, which are built near the customers' areas. Amazon Now offers quick access to groceries, personal care products, and electronic accessories. With this latest expansion, Amazon will now directly compete with fast-delivery players like Blinkit, Swiggy, Instamart, and Zepto.
According to the company, Amazon Now is available in select pin codes of Mumbai. After receiving strong customer response in Bengaluru and Delhi, the service has now expanded to the third city. Through this service, customers can order thousands of daily essentials, including groceries, personal care items, electronic accessories, and festive supplies, within minutes.
The online marketplace has set up over 100 Amazon Now micro-fulfillment centers in all three cities. Amazon says it plans to add hundreds more by the end of the year, and the company claims that order volume is growing at a rate of 25 percent every month.
Amazon Now was launched in Bengaluru earlier this year. Amazon India VP and Country Manager Sameer Kumar said that Amazon Prime members have increased their shopping frequency three times after using Amazon Now.
The company confirmed that it will continue to expand Amazon Now to more areas in Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai, with new cities to be added in the coming months. To check if the service is available in your area, you can open the Amazon.in app and look for the '10 mins' icon in the top banner.
Amazon's latest expansion reflects India's fast-growing quick-commerce space, where Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, and Blinkit already have a strong foothold. Tata's BB Now and Flipkart's Minutes service are also part of this fast-growing market. Amazon's rival Flipkart launched its quick delivery service Flipkart Minutes in August last year.
