Hyundai has made some major changes in its popular three-row SUV Alcazar. Now, a new corporate variant has been included in the range of Alcazar SUV, which comes with a diesel engine, and its starting price has been kept slightly less than Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom). Apart from this, Hyundai has also added the option of a DCT automatic gearbox with a petrol engine in the Prestige variant of the Alcazar. So that smoother and performance-focused driving can be achieved.

The corporate variant has been introduced with two transmission options: a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Some time ago, Hyundai also launched a special wired-to-wireless adapter for Alcazar so that Apple CarPlay and Android Auto can now be used without cables. This feature is available in the Prestige, Platinum, and Signature variants and will now be available in these new variants as well.

Talking about the features of the new Corporate and Prestige variants, they have elements like 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, bridge-type roof rails, quad-beam LED headlamps, and sequential turn indicators on the outside. These variants are also much better in terms of safety as they include features like 6 airbags, ESC, hill-start assist, and VSM (vehicle stability management).

Talking about comfort and technology, Alcazar is offering many features in these variants such as dual zone climate control, voice-enabled panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging in the front row, push button start with smart key, and Hyundai BlueLink connected car technology.

Talking about the price, the Prestige 7-seater (petrol DCT) model has been set at slightly over Rs 18.5 lakh (ex-showroom). On the other hand, the Corporate 7-seater (manual) model is available for slightly under Rs 18 lakh, and the Corporate 7-seater (automatic) model is available at around Rs 19.25 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai Alcazar gets two engine options. First is the 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine that delivers 158 bhp power and 253 Nm torque. This is paired with a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT transmission. Second is the 1.5-liter U2 CRDi diesel engine with 114 bhp power and 250 Nm torque. Both manual and automatic variants are available with this as well.

Talking about the inside, the interior of the Alcazar is equally premium. It has a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster. This SUV comes in two seating configurations - 6-seater, which has captain seats in the second row, and 7-seater, which has bench seats. A new dual-tone theme is seen in the cabin, which includes color shades like Noble Brown and Haze Navy.

The SUV also has an individual armrest for the third row. The third row seats in the 6-seater variant are ventilated, while in the 7-seater this feature is only for the front row. Apart from this, it has a USB charging pad, which is installed behind the front row seat. And electrically adjustable front seats are also available, which support memory function.
