Namibia defeated South Africa by 4 wickets in the only T20 International played at the Namibia Cricket Ground in Windhoek. This match was the first T20 International between South Africa and Namibia, in which Namibia emerged victorious.

South Africa, with a young team captained by Donovan Ferreira, won the toss. They chose to bat first and scored 134 for 8. The South African batsmen crumbled in the face of Namibia's tight bowling, and it never looked like the team was heading for a big total.

Jason Smith was the top scorer, scoring 31 runs off 30 balls with the help of 2 fours. Rubin Hermann scored 23, and Luhan Dre Pretorius scored 22. B. Fortune scored 19, and Gerald Coetzee scored 12 to take the team's score to 134. South Africa never recovered, losing Quinton de Kock (1) and Reeza Hendricks (7) cheaply.

Chasing the target of 135, Namibia had a poor start. The team lost both their openers at 28. However, all the batsmen made small but useful contributions thereafter, leading the team to a historic victory. Wicketkeeper-batsman Zane Green hit a four off the last ball of the innings, giving Namibia a 4-wicket win.
