MNS leader slapped an elderly woman

The leader of Raj Thackeray's party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) publicly slapped and pushed an elderly woman. The video of this incident which took place in Mumbai's Mumba Devi area is now going viral. The victim's name is Prakash Devi. MNS workers had put up a poll in front of her medical shop for publicity, to which the woman had objected.
The name of the leader who was assaulted is Vinod Argyle. In the video, several people are seen pulling the argyle. Still, he did not desist from his action. The leader also pushed the elderly woman Prakash Devi several times, due to which she fell to the ground. The incident is on August 28, the video of which has now surfaced.
The Mumba Devi area of Mumbai is famous for its temple. MNS workers were erecting bamboo poles in this area, but Prakash Devi asked them not to put up poles in front of the medical shop. The elderly woman said – I was not only assaulted but also abused by MNS workers.
According to the police, on August 31, three days after the assault, the woman lodged a complaint. A medical checkup of the woman has been done. Action will be taken soon.
Responding to this matter, MNS leader Keshav Mulay said – The viral video is not complete. We are not supporting this, MNS respects women but that woman kicked our party banner and misbehaved with our party workers, which has been edited from the video. Vinod Argil has a taper issue. We have faith in the justice system.
Last month, a video of UP BJP leader Shrikant Tyagi went viral. Tyagi was seen using abusive language with the woman at Noida's Sector-93 Omaxe Grand Society. The woman alleged that she told me, "If you touch the plants, I will touch you."
People living in the society had told that Shrikant was illegally occupying the parkland by planting trees in the common area. When he protested, he committed indecency. Taking action on this matter, the police arrested Shrikant Tyagi. Tyagi apologized.
