Mega deal approved to buy 26 Rafale marine fighter aircraft from France, Indian Navy's strength will increase

India has cleared the deal for purchasing 26 Rafale marine fighter aircraft from France. This government-to-government deal worth over Rs 63,000 crore can be finalized in the near future. According to news agency ANI, quoting government sources, under this deal, India will receive 22 single-seat and four twin-seat aircraft. This deal will benefit in modernizing the Rafale aircraft fleet of the Indian Air Force as well. Rafale-M fighter jets will be inducted into the Indian Navy aircraft fleet.

The Rafale-M fighter aircraft will be fitted with cutting-edge technology and capability such as Indian Air Force's Rafale aircraft made by French company Dassault Aviation. These aircraft will be game-changers for the Indian Navy, as they will increase the capability for operations at sea. These jets will be deployed on aircraft carriers as well, which will significantly boost the military power of the Indian Navy.
