Manoj Joshi reached Jaipur today to see the ground reality: Develop small cities by making a master plan

Manoj Joshi, Government Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, reached Jaipur today to see the ground reality of the project being built in Jaipur with the help of the Central Government. Here he saw the opportunity of IPD Tower and Rambagh parking at Mansarovar. After this, Joshi also saw the Constitution Park being built in Raj Bhavan and was instructed to complete the work of all the projects on time. Apart from this, he suggested preparing the master plan for small cities along the lines of big cities and developing the infrastructure there accordingly.
Earlier, Joshi held a meeting in JDA and reviewed the projects with the officials of the Municipal Corporation, Housing Board and UDH. During this, he also inquired about the ongoing project under Red Light Free Junction, Sahara and the soon-to-be-started Sodala elevated road in the city.
Joshi also talked about laying emphasis on making master plans for small cities along the lines of big cities. He said that for the good future of any small town, it is best to plan and develop that city from the beginning. In such a situation, if we make a master plan for small cities and develop them accordingly, then in future the people there will get better facilities and their migration will also stop.
The Union Secretary appreciated the project of developing a better medical facility in the city through the Smart City Project. Seeing the project of the IPD tower being built in SMS Hospital, he said that more such projects should come into view in the future. Because after Covid, strengthening the health sector should be the first priority of all governments.
