New electric vehicles are being developed by Mahindra for the Indian market. The domestic carmaker had introduced several new concepts in 2022. The company is now testing them on Indian roads. Recently the XUV.e9 was spotted charging at a Tata Motors dealership. Come, let us know about it.
The charging port of the XUV.e9 is located at the rear left. We have seen in earlier spy shots that there is a plastic piece covering the charging port. It has a C-shaped LED tail lamp, which wraps around the charging port.
The XUV.e8's LED headlamps are the same as this one. To keep the necessary airflow to the electrical components, slim air dams are installed. Newly designed alloy wheels and side door handles that fit flush are also included.
The Mahindra XUV.e9 will measure 1,690 mm in height, 1,905 mm in width, and 4,790 mm in length. It will have a 2,775 mm wheelbase and be built on the INGLO platform. Given that it will be larger than the XUV700 as a point of comparison, the XUV.e9 appears impressive.
The launch date of the XUV.e9 is set for April 2025, as disclosed by Mahindra. With the launch of the XUV.e8 by the end of 2024, this will be Mahindra's second "born electric" car.
