Mana village of Chamoli district of Uttarakhand itself lies near the India-Tibet border. Not only this, but the location of this spot is only 3 kilometers away from Badrinath Dham. This village is a repository of history and culture, regarding each and every particle of which one could feel the past. It's one of the specialties is also that only here, one could get to see the Saraswati river. Other than this, there is one thing also said about this spot, i.e., this village itself is the route to Heaven.

This village is named Mana after Manibhadra Dev. It is considered to be the only place on earth that is holier than the four Dhams. This village is considered to be curse-free and sin-free. Not only this, there is also a belief that when the Pandavas were going towards heaven, they passed through this village. There is also a Bhima bridge here, about which it is believed that Bhima made a bridge by throwing a rock to cross a waterfall on the way.
