Leaked picture of iPhone 17; Special design can be seen
The iPhone 17 series can be launched in September this year. It can be launched as an upgrade to the iPhone 16 lineup launched in September last year. An old leak claimed that this time the iPhone can see a new design this time. Now a new leak seems to confirm this.

The iPhone 17 series will reportedly launch later this year as a replacement for the iPhone 16 series that debuted in September 2024. Over the last couple of weeks, there have been numerous leaks about the purported iPhone 17 phones online. This year's lineup may include a slim version along with a regular base, Plus, Pro, and Pro Max versions. An old leak had revealed that the series might have a newly designed rear camera module. A new leak confirms this claim and shows a visor-like camera unit instead of the square camera island that has appeared on recent iPhones. It resembles the Pixel phone.
Tipster Majin Bu (@MajinBuOfficial) shared leaked live images of the back panel of phones claimed to be the iPhone 17 in a post on Tuesday. The tipster did not mention the iPhone variant in the post, but it could be the base iPhone 17 model. The image shows a visor-like horizontal pill-shaped module towards the top of the panel. It has a single camera cutout visible in the left corner.
This visor-like design seen in the leaked iPhone 17 image is similar to Google Pixel smartphones. In particular, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus have vertical elliptical rear camera units, while the Pro model has the square island seen on Apple smartphones since the iPhone 11. An earlier leak claimed that the alleged redesign is expected to make room for a 'front structure light'. This is likely a reference to Face ID.
